Job summary

Surbana Technologies is seeking a Robotics Technical Lead to own the platform architecture and to build and lead a team of roboticists. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will set the technical direction, stay close to the code, and grow a high-performing engineering team around you.

You will shape the end-to-end system that coordinates robot fleets across buildings, ensure safety, reliability, and smooth integration with building systems, and mentor engineers to deliver robust

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading engineers and end-to-end delivery.
• Experience coordinating or orchestrating multiple robots as a fleet.
• Strong software engineering skills across the robotics stack.
• Experience designing interfaces or platforms used by other teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture of the platform coordinating robot fleets.
• Build and lead a team of roboticists, hire and mentor.
• Make key technical decisions on system structure, scalability, safety.
• Design integration of third-party robots and new vendors.
• Ensure integration with building and operations environment so activity flows to users.
• Define stable interfaces for other teams and products.
• Champion AI-augmented workflows to accelerate delivery.
• Establish testing, simulation, quality and deployment foundations.
