Job summary

QUIKBOT TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. seeks a hands-on Robotics Platform & AMR Engineer to lead integration, deployment, and field operation of autonomous mobile robots across commercial and smart-building environments.

You will bridge robotics software, hardware, networking, and infrastructure, connecting AMRs with lifts, doors, and access control systems. Strong ROS/ROS2, Linux, Python, and C/C++ skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Automation Engineering.
• Core Technical Stack: ROS/ROS2, Linux (Ubuntu), Python, C/C++, REST APIs, Git, TCP/IP networking, and SLAM/LiDAR autonomous navigation principles.
• Preferred Experience: AMRs/AGVs, fleet management software, or hardware protocols (CAN, Modbus, RS485). Fresh graduates with robotics projects ok.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and commission AMRs on-site with mapping, navigation, and UAT validation.
• Integrate multi-vendor AMRs with central middleware and building systems via REST, MQTT, WebSockets.
• Tune ROS/ROS2 in Linux to configure sensors, debug navigation, and write Python/C++ utilities.
• Configure SLAM, LiDAR, path planning, and perform hardware/software/network troubleshooting.
• Monitor fleet health, investigate incidents, and maintain deployment docs and logs.

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Robotics Platform & AMR Engineer to lead the integration, deployment, and field operation of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) across commercial and smart-building environments. This role bridges robotics software, hardware, networking, and physical infrastructure—connecting AMRs directly with lifts, automatic doors, and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Deployment & Commissioning:Execute site mapping, navigation routing, waypoint setup, and operational parameter configuration; conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment validation on-site.
• Systems Integration:Interface multi-vendor AMR platforms with centralized orchestration middleware, IoT devices, and smart-building infrastructure (lifts, doors, turnstiles) via REST APIs, MQTT, and WebSockets.
• Software & Tooling:Utilize ROS/ROS2 within Linux (Ubuntu) environments to configure sensors, debug navigation modules, analyze system logs, and develop utility scripts in Python or C++.
• Navigation & Fleet Diagnostics:Configure SLAM, LiDAR sensors, local/global path planning, and auto-docking; conduct systematic hardware, software, and TCP/IP network troubleshooting.
• Operations & Documentation:Monitor active AMR fleet health, investigate field incidents, conduct preventive maintenance, and maintain deployment architecture, network logs, and user guides.

Candidate Requirements

• Education:Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Automation Engineering.
• Core Technical Stack:ROS/ROS2, Linux (Ubuntu), Python, C/C++, REST APIs, Git, TCP/IP networking, and SLAM/LiDAR autonomous navigation principles.
• Preferred Experience:Prior exposure to commercial AMRs/AGVs, fleet management software, or hardware protocols (CAN, Modbus, RS485, dry-contact relays). Fresh graduates with strong robotics projects or internship experience are welcome.
