Job summary

A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research is seeking a Laboratory Officer to support the adaptive robotics and mechatronics group. You will work with a diverse team of scientists, engineers and technicians to conduct experiments, analyze data, and ensure smooth, safe lab operations to back R&D activities.

No prior professional experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Basic knowledge in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar, and familiarity with drawing

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of Python or C++ is beneficial.
• Awareness of RA/SWP documentation and safety.
• Willingness to learn robotics and automation.

Responsibilities

• Setting up experiments/trials to aid in project data collection and analysis.
• Learn and master humanoids and robotics arms and set up experiments for data collection.
• Carry out experimental procedures while ensuring safety standards.
• Upkeep of the lab, maintenance of equipment and inventory.
