Job summary

Science Centre Singapore is seeking an Assistant Robotics Engineer/Robotics Engineer in Singapore to develop and implement ROS-based robotics solutions for SCS and NSC. From hands-on hardware deployment to core software development, you will manage setup, testing and maintenance of our robot fleet.

You'll work with partners across disciplines, contributing to visitor experiences and educational programs, calibrating systems, and supporting live deployments.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering is required.
• Proficient in C++, Python and ROS2.
• Experience with LiDARs and IMUs is preferred.
• Willing to grow into senior robotics roles.
• GitHub portfolio or projects appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ROS-based robotic solutions.
• Lead deployment lifecycle from software to hardware.
• Work on perception and navigation modules.
• Calibrate systems and monitor performance in live environments.
• Collaborate with partners and cross-disciplinary teams.
