Job summary

Science Centre Singapore seeks an Assistant Robotics Engineer/Robotics Engineer to develop ROS-based robotics solutions that enhance visitor experiences and operational efficiency.

You will work across the deployment lifecycle, from perception and navigation software to calibration and automated monitoring, in collaboration with partners. A hands-on role with LiDARs, IMUs, and Linux environments, with growth toward senior responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma in Engineering required.
• Proficient in C++, Python and ROS2.
• Comfortable developing firmware and software for hardware.
• Experience navigating Linux environments and hardware like LiDARs/IMUs.
• Strong interest in Robotics and AI development; open to full stack work.
• Advantageous: GitHub portfolio, AI/ML, SLAM, Motion Planning, CI/CD pipelines, sims.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ROS-based robotics solutions for visitor experiences and operations.
• Handle deployment lifecycle from perception/navigation to hardware calibration and monitoring.
• Collaborate with partners to deploy and maintain the robot fleet in live environments.
