Job summary

Tyson Jay in Singapore is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and integrate power electronics and PCB layouts, and to drive sensor interfaces within a cross-functional team. You will own board bring-up, prototyping, and transition to production, collaborating with mechanical and firmware engineers to deliver robust solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in EE, demonstrates strong PCB design and signal processing fundamentals, and is comfortable tackling unfamiliar

• Solid foundation in PCB design, power electronics, and signal processing.
• Hands-on experience with hardware prototyping and board-level debugging.
• Comfortable working in a cross-functional team with mechanical and software engineers.
• Open mindset and willingness to work on unfamiliar problems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems including power distribution, motor control, and sensor integration
• Own PCB design, schematic capture, and board bring-up
• Work on cabling architecture, signal routing, and connector selection for electromechanical assemblies
• Collaborate with mechanical and firmware engineers to integrate electrical systems into the full product
• Test, debug, and iterate on electrical designs through prototyping and production cycles
• Support the transition of designs from prototype to production-ready

• Background in consumer electronics, medical devices, drones, or any hardware product that ships
