Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Robotics & Automation Technician to manage autonomous robots and CoBOTs across the F10 manufacturing area. You will troubleshoot, recover, and maintain the automation fleet, supporting TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.

Fresh graduates are welcome; the role requires hands-on mechanical/electrical skills, safety mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced, rotating shift environment. AI tools and digital dashboards are part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome; exposure to mobile robots or automated equipment is a plus.
• Hands-on with mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and using hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support robotics and automation fleet across the site, delivering material handling and loading operations.
• Monitor shift operations, publish announcements, handle escalations, and pass down to the next shift.
• Troubleshoot faulted robots and recover safely, logging incidents accurately.
• Perform TPM routines and daily equipment checks; manage spares and maintenance records.
• Use AI tools for fault diagnosis and data collection, escalating when outside playbook.
• Ensure safety, maintain maps and routes, and assist with deployment of new robotics solutions.
