Job summary

Augmentus is seeking a senior robotics engineer to collaborate with engineers and experts to implement software solutions for industrial automation. You will configure robotic systems to meet client needs and ensure optimal performance while supporting hardware and software integration for comprehensive automation.

You will lead a team, develop technical documentation, troubleshoot issues, and stay ahead of robotics advances to contribute fresh ideas. Strong programming and CAD skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with industrial robotic arms (ABB, Fanuc, Kawasaki, Yaskawa) is required.
• Experience leading and managing a team is expected.
• Experience with robotic programming, engineering, or automation projects.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with application engineers and robotics experts to implement robotic software solutions for various industrial applications.
• Assist in configuring robotic systems to meet client needs, ensuring optimal performance.
• Support integration of robotic hardware, sensors, and software components for comprehensive automation solutions.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including user manuals and system specifications.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues and providing timely solutions for smooth robotic operation.

• Learn and develop expertise in the company’s proprietary robotic systems.
• Stay informed about advances in industrial robotics to contribute ideas to projects.
