Job summary

Jet Aviation in Singapore seeks an experienced aviation professional to lead a team in aircraft interior maintenance and refurbishment. You will manage daily activities, coordinate interior component removal and installation, and ensure projects meet schedules and quality standards.

Ideal candidates hold a B1/B2 license, have 4–7 years in MRO or interior maintenance, and excel in coaching, communication, and client-facing collaboration.

Qualifications

• Licensed Aircraft Engineer with B1 or B2 rating; CAAS or EASA preferred.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in MRO, RMU, or aircraft interior maintenance.
• Good knowledge of maintenance processes, procedures, and operational practices.
• Ability to coach, guide, and share technical knowledge with trainees.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily aircraft interior maintenance and refurbishment activities.
• Coordinate removal and installation of seats, carpets, sidewalls, monuments, furnishings and other interior components.
• Plan and allocate manpower to ensure on-time project delivery.
• Monitor team performance, productivity, and progress.
• Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Logistics, Production, Project Managers and customers.
• Support cabin modification and refurbishment projects.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting safety, quality, cost or timelines.
• Uphold MOE standards and applicable aviation regulations; promote safety, quality, FOD prevention and housekeeping.
• Coach and mentor technicians and trainees; seek efficiency improvements.
• Provide regular updates on progress, manpower, and operational performance.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily aircraft interior maintenance and refurbishment activities.
• Coordinate the removal and installation of aircraft seats, carpets, sidewalls, monuments, furnishings, and other interior components.
• Plan and allocate manpower to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on schedule.
• Monitor team performance, productivity, and work progress.
• Work closely with Planning, Engineering, Logistics, Production, Project Managers, and customers.
• Support aircraft cabin modification and refurbishment projects.
• Identify and resolve operational issues that may impact safety, quality, cost, or timelines.
• Ensure all work meets company procedures, customer requirements, MOE standards, and applicable aviation regulations.
• Promote a strong safety, quality, FOD prevention, and housekeeping culture.
• Coach, guide, and share knowledge with technicians and trainees.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, turnaround time, and overall service quality.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, manpower, and operational performance.

Minimum Requirements

• Licensed Aircraft Engineer with B1 or B2 rating; CAAS or EASA preferred.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in MRO, RMU, or aircraft interior maintenance.
• Good knowledge of maintenance processes, procedures, and operational practices.
• Ability to coach, guide, and share technical knowledge with team members and trainees.
• Experience supporting or supervising trainee development is an advantage.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience managing schedules, resources, and budgets.
• Basic project management knowledge, including cost and time control.
• Ability to read and understand aircraft maintenance tasks and technical manuals in English.

Work Environment

The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
