Job summary

Binance is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to join the Risk/Data team. The role supports data pipeline development, SQL-based analytics, and data standardization under senior guidance.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work with large-scale data processing in a global blockchain environment. The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, stats, or math, with strong SQL skills and familiarity with Hive/Spark SQL.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Solid SQL skills, familiarity with Hive/Spark SQL is a plus.
• Basic proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python preferred).
• Strong interest in data analytics, risk control, or fraud detection.
• Good communication skills, eagerness to learn and take initiative.
• Available for at least 3 days per week, minimum 3-month internship duration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining SQL-based data pipelines and analytics workflows
• Support data standardization and normalization projects (e.g., address parsing, entity resolution)
• Help build and optimize data models, dashboards, and reports
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis under mentorship and present findings to the team
• Assist in monitoring data quality and implementing validation logic
• Collaborate with team members on cross-functional data projects
