Job summary

ST VENTURE EMPLOYMENT AGENCY is seeking a retail assistant to provide excellent customer service and manage cashier duties. You'll greet and assist customers professionally, restock shelves, and maintain a clean store. The role requires flexibility, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
• Operate the cash register, handle payments, and issue receipts
• Restock shelves and ensure product displays are tidy and well-presented
• Assist with inventory management and stocktaking
• Keep the store clean, organized, and safe
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with a positive attitude
• Follow organisation policies and procedures, including health and safety standards

Requirements

• Working time Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and one Sunday morning each month.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required
• Basic math skills and ability to operate a cashier and POS system
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluence in English
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• A team player with a proactive and can-do attitude
• Reliable and punctual
