• Develop and execute the Retail Sales strategy and annual business plans in line with the company’s overall objectives.
• Identify market trends, growth opportunities and competitive developments to drive sustainable revenue and market share growth.
• Develop appropriate channel, customer, pricing and promotional strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
• Take accountability for retail sales revenue, volume, gross margin and profitability performance.
• Develop and manage the sales budget, trade investments and promotional spending to achieve business objectives.
• Monitor sales performance and key commercial metrics, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail customers, including major retailers and supermarket chains.
• Lead customer negotiations, commercial discussions and joint business planning to strengthen customer partnerships and business performance.
