Job summary

Timezone Singapore is expanding its team and seeks a manager to oversee daily venue operations, drive sales and guest satisfaction across our Singapore locations. Lead a large team, coordinate with the Operations Manager on KPIs, and implement action plans based on sales analytics.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to coach both full-time and part-time staff while managing costs and promotions. Weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of supervisory experience in a large retail environment.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proven leadership and people-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily venue operations to achieve sales and profitability.
• Ensure guests receive exceptional service experience.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager on venue objectives and KPIs.
• Analyze sales and KPIs and propose action plans regularly.
• Coach staff on service standards and venue presentation.
• Communicate brand promotions and marketing initiatives to the team.
• Manage costs and reconcile cash takings daily.
• Resolve guest complaints and feedback promptly.
• Maintain high team motivation and guest-focused service.
• Provide coaching for continuous improvement and stock control.
• Plan weekly duty rosters according to traffic and shift needs.
• Monitor turnover and absenteeism; conduct annual performance reviews.
• Log incidents required by the business.

What do you do?

• Responsible for daily venue operations, achieving venue sales and profitability and ensuring
• every guest receives great service experience
• Work with Operations Manager on venue objectives and KPIs
• Analyse the sales, KPIs and propose action plan on a regular basis
• Coach employees in all aspects of systems and operations including guest service standards and venue presentation.
• Communicate and ensure that the team is aware of all the brand promotions and marketing initiatives
• Be accountable for cost management and reconcile all cashier takings and monies
• Manage and resolve any guest’s complaints/ feedback
• Maintain a high level of motivation and ensure the team is dedicated to offer the best guest service
• Provide constructive feedback and constantly provide coaching to the team for improvement
• Monitor the stock inventory process to minimize shrinkage and accuracy in stock management
• Plan and prepare weekly duty roster according to daily traffic
• Maintain employee turnover and absenteeism
• Conduct annual individual performance review of your team
• Log any incidents required by the business.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a large retail environment, in a supervisory role.
• Good analytical skills with an eye for detail
• Proven leadership skills
• Integrity and a great sense of responsibility.
• Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills
• Ability to lead and manage a large team of full-timers and part-timers.
• Take initiative and creative problem-solving skills.
• Sound computer skills and knowledge to operate the systems and company softwares.

• Working Days: Mon – Sun (2 off days in a week)
• Available to work on weekends and holidays
• You will be given 1 Fri, 1 Sat, and 1 Sun off per month, the other off days will be mostly on off-peak weekdays
