Job summary

Tintin Singapore Pte. Ltd. in Chinatown, a busy tourist hotspot, is seeking enthusiastic individuals for a full-time retail role. You will interact with customers, demonstrate product features, and help shoppers discover toys, comics and pop-culture collectibles.

The position offers a 44-hour work week, weekends and public holidays included, and a monthly salary of S$2,450. Product training will be provided to help you grow with the Tintin brand.

Responsibilities

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who love customer interaction and have a natural flair for selling. If you enjoy a dynamic retail environment working in a tourist hotspot, we want you!

Interest in toys, comics, and pop-culture collectibles, or prior experience working in bookstores, department stores, or theme parks.

Product training will be provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Active Sales & Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and embody the friendly, good-natured vibes of the iconic Tintin brand. Assist customers by proactively demonstrating and explaining the unique functions, features, and history of our products.
• Visual Merchandising: Manage and maintain premium store display standards. Ensure the retail store is kept clean, organized, well-presented, and beautifully arranged.
• Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock-takes and replenish store shelves according to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Assist the Store Manager with stock inventory counts and packing online e-commerce orders.
• Continuous Learning: Keep up to date with product features, upcoming merchandise releases, store promotions, and trends. Participate actively in training sessions to continuously improve product knowledge and service quality.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to work retail operational hours, including regular weekends and public holidays.
• Honest, proactive, willing to learn, and a reliable team player.
• Comfortable with manual handling, including lifting and moving stock cartons during inventory replenishment and delivery days.
