Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer-facing experience is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers and colleagues.

• Reliable, punctual and flexible, including weekends/public holidays per retail schedules.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and attend to customer queries professionally and friendly.
• Process transactions at POS with accuracy and speed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organisation and merchandising standards.
• Monitor stock levels, receive deliveries and replenish shelves promptly.
• Assist with inventory, stock takes and cycle counts as required.
• Promote products and services and highlight offers to drive sales.
• Support team in achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Adhere to health, safety and security protocols in-store.

About the role

We are seeking a Retail Assistant to join our team in the Woodlands North Region of Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic retail environment where you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our store. You will work alongside a talented team to create a welcoming shopping experience whilst maintaining high standards of merchandising, stock management and sales performance. This is a full-time position based at our physical retail location.

Key responsibilities

• Providing exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting and attending to customer queries and requests in a professional and friendly manner
• Processing transactions at the point of sale, ensuring accuracy and speed whilst maintaining cash handling protocols
• Maintaining store cleanliness, organisation and visual merchandising standards across all retail areas
• Monitoring stock levels, receiving deliveries and replenishing shelves with products in a timely and organised manner
• Assisting with inventory management, stock takes and cycle counts as required
• Promoting products and services to customers, highlighting special offers and new items to encourage sales
• Supporting the store team in achieving sales targets and key performance indicators
• Adhering to all health, safety and security protocols within the store environment
• Following company policies, procedures and brand standards consistently
