Singapore General Hospital Pte Ltd is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our critical care team. The role involves delivering advanced cardiorespiratory support in ICU and general wards, including initiating ventilation, CPR, and airway procedures, with responsibility for equipment maintenance and patient education.

Qualified candidates will hold a Degree in Respiratory Therapy and bring strong communication skills; 2–3 years ICU experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• 2–3 years ICU experience is an added advantage.

Responsabilités

• Initiate and titrate assisted ventilation and maintain ventilatory modes.
• Provide CPR and airway procedures including fibreoptic bronchoscopy support.
• Educate patients on respiratory disease management and perform basic maintenance of respiratory equipment.

Description du poste

You will be an integral member of a team of healthcare professionals providing both basic and advanced cardiorespiratory support to patients. This involves administering care to patients in the intensive care units and general wards. The scope of work includes initiating and titrating assisted ventilation, maintaining a range of ventilatory modes and ventilators, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and providing support in airway procedures such as fibreoptic bronchoscopy. You will also provide patient education and counselling in the management of a variety of respiratory diseases as well as basic maintenance and trouble shooting of respiratory equipments.

• Candidates with a minimum 2-3 years relevant working experience in ICU will be an added advantage
