Job summary

Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore is recruiting a Respiratory Therapist to deliver basic and advanced respiratory care to patients with cardio-pulmonary conditions. You will plan, implement and evaluate diagnostic and therapeutic services, including mechanical ventilation support, in the ICU, and participate in ward rounds with the medical team to optimize patient outcomes.

You will educate and train colleagues, students and patients, assist in maintaining equipment, and contribute to quality

Qualifications

• Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patient-focused with genuine desire to make a difference.
• Demonstrate sound clinical knowledge and reasoning in care.
• Strong judgment and decision making in care provision.
• Passionate about healthcare career and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferably 3 years ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic and advanced respiratory care to cardio-pulmonary patients.
• Plan, implement and evaluate diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services and emergency care in the ICU.
• Assist physicians in diagnosis and management of cardio-respiratory diseases.
• Perform procedures including mechanical ventilation management, CPR, endotracheal intubation assistance, ABG sampling, bronchoscopy support.
• Participate in ward rounds to review and optimize respiratory therapy.
