Job summary

SingHealth Group in Singapore is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals providing cardiorespiratory support across ICU and general wards.

You will initiate and titrate assisted ventilation, maintain various ventilatory modes, perform CPR and airway procedures, educate patients, and handle maintenance and troubleshooting of respiratory equipment to ensure optimal patient safety.

Qualifications

• Degree in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

You will work with a team of healthcare professionals to provide basic and advanced cardiorespiratory support to patients. This includes administering care to patients in the intensive care units and general wards, initiating and titrating assisted ventilation, maintaining a range of ventilatory modes and ventilators, as well as performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation and providing support in airway procedures. In addition, you will provide patient education and counselling as well as basic maintenance and troubleshooting of respiratory equipment.
