Job summary

Ters Consulting Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a qualified engineer to oversee slurry TBM/NATM projects. The role requires a minimum of three years of relevant experience, a diploma in the civil discipline, and accreditation as QSS and RTO (Tunnel) under IES/ACES.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in slurry TBM or NATM.
• Diploma in civil discipline; JAC accreditation as QSS.
• Accredited as RTO (Tunnel) under IES/ACES Specialist Accreditation Programme.
• Willing to work fifty-six (56) hours per week.
• Willing to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings
• Provide all relevant endorsements required by the relevant authorities
• Supervise civil, structural and geotechnical building works, both permanent and temporary
• Ensure that contractor had obtained all necessary permits and clearance to work
• Conduct site inspection and ensure corrective actions and timely preventive/mitigation measures
• Coordinate the contractor, AC, QP(D), relevant agencies, including interfacing contractors and consultants
• Review, evaluate and assess all formwork structure, formwork support systems
• Review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• Supervise the installation of instrumentation
• Supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works
• Review, evaluate and assess the monitoring of instrumentation and interpretation of results
• Review Contractor's design and supervise all works

Job description

a. Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in projects SLURRY TBM OR NATM.

b. Possess a diploma in the civil discipline or equivalent and be accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS.

c. Must be accredited as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) (Tunnel) under IES/ACES Specialist Accreditation Programme.

d. To fulfil working hours of fifty‑six (56) hours/week

e. Must be willing to work shifts

Job Description & Requirements:
