Job summary

CHAN & CHAN ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Resident Technical Officer to oversee daily site operations for construction projects in Singapore. You will supervise contractor activities, ensure adherence to approved plans, and enforce safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate with QPs, consultants, and the project team to deliver high-quality works on schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Diploma in civil/structural discipline or NCCS or equivalent.
• Must be a team player with strong leadership, communication, and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and contractor activities on site.
• Monitor progress, safety, and compliance with plans and statutory requirements.
• Identify discrepancies, provide feedback to QPs/Consultants/Employer.
• Support project team to ensure quality and timely completion.

Job Scope:

• Monitor contractors' all type of daily activity, site progress, schedule and safety on site.
• Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress and non-conformances/ irregularities to QPs/ Consultants/ Employer.
• To ensure all the construction works have complied statutory requirements

Job Requirements:

• Must be registered as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS.
