Job summary

GREENSAFE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Supervisor (RTO) to lead civil and structural works at site for airport/large-scale projects.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years of site supervision experience and a Diploma/Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Night/phas ed construction experience is advantageous; strong coordination with contractors and project teams is essential. Rotating shifts may be required; the incumbent will ensure compliance with approved plans and quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of site supervision experience as an RTO.
• Diploma or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with phased construction and night works preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor civil and structural works at site to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor the quality and progress of construction works.
• Check setting-out, excavation, earthworks, concrete works, structural works, drainage, road and pavement works.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and other site personnel to resolve technical and construction issues.
• Monitor testing and inspection activities and ensure relevant records are properly maintained.
• Identify defects, non-conformance and unsafe work practices and follow up on rectification.
• Review and verify contractor's work progress and provide site feedback to the RE/consultant.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications and project requirements.
• Supervise works carried out during phased construction, night works and within operational facilities.
• Attend site meetings, inspections and coordination meetings when required.
• Maintain daily site records, inspection reports, photographs and other relevant documentation.
• Assist the RE in monitoring project progress and ensuring timely completion of works.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in airport, large-scale A&A or brownfield projects will be advantageous.
• Experience with phased construction and night works is preferred.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, drawings, specifications and site inspection procedures.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with contractors and project teams.
• Willing to work rotating shift when required.
