Job summary

Surbana Jurong Group is seeking a qualified site professional to assist on site to ensure works meet regulatory and client requirements. You'll collaborate with Professional Engineers, regulatory authorities and contractors to provide planning, design and supervision leadership to solve site problems and ensure timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years site experience in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of C&S details, drawings, shop drawings and construction method.
• Knowledge of authorities/regulations for construction.
• Good supervisory and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, time management and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist on site to ensure all works comply with regulatory and client’s requirements.

• Carry out regular site checks on contractor & ensure compliance with health and work safety per MOM regulation.
• Ensure proper site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, as built submissions, etc., are well managed.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist on site to ensure that all works comply fully with regulatory and client’s requirements
• Work closely with Professional Engineers, regulatory authorities and contractors to provide planning, design and supervision leadership not only to solve site problems, but also to ensure timely completion of the projects
• Responsible for implementing and sustaining the site supervision quality & safety assurance system
• Carry out supervision of structural & geotechnical works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor’s works on site
• Understand drawings & contract documents in carrying out the works
• Implement the site supervision quality and safety assurance system
• To carry out regular site checks on contractor & ensure compliance with health and work safety in accordance with MOM regulation
• Ensure that proper site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, as built submissions etc., are well managed

Requirement

• Diploma/ Degree in C&S Engineering from a Institution / University accredited by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore
• Must be accredited as a Resident Technical Officer with BCA/IES/ACES
• Min. 5 years site working experience in Singapore
• Strong knowledge of C&S details, working drawings, shop drawings and C&S construction method
• Strong knowledge of authorities/agencies requirements and regulations for construction.
• Good supervisory and leadership skills
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, time management, and analytical skills.
