Job summary

Kingsford Property Development Pte. Ltd. invites applications for a Resident Engineer to oversee structural works on precast high rise residential projects in Singapore.

The role requires coordination with the main contractor's engineer and supervision of piling, deep excavation, and related works according to approved drawings and regulations. Applicants should hold a Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and be registered with IES/ACES as a Resident Engineer, with at least 5 years of relevant

Qualifications

• Must be registered with IES/ACES as a Resident Engineer.
• Minimum 5 years experience as Resident Engineer in precast high rise residential building project.
• Knowledgeable with local authority regulations (BCA).
• Experience with PPVC is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Main Contractors Engineer/Supervisor for inspections.
• Supervision & inspection for piling, ERSS, deep excavation & precast works per drawings/specifications.
• Carry out supervision and be fully responsible for all structural works per approved drawings.
• Monitor progress on structural inspection across all structural works.
• Check and monitor structural and architectural works per contract drawings and method statements.
• Provide standing supervision for civil and structural works in accordance with project specs and Building Control Act.

• To liaise and conduct inspection with the Main Contractors Engineer/Supervisor.
• Supervision & Inspection for Piling, ERSS, Deep Excavation & precast work with approved dwg, specification, rule & regulation.
• Carry out supervision and fully responsible all structural works carried out according to approved drawings
• To monitor the progress on structural inspection on all Structural works according to the approved drawings issued.
• To check and monitor the Structural and Architectural works according to the contract drawings, specifications, approved shop drawings and method of statements
• To provide wherever and whenever necessary standing supervision for the construction of civil and structural works in accordance to the Project specifications, construction drawings and Building Control Act and Regulations.
• To oversee in all aspects relating to the construction of the Project.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized university and registered with IES/ACES as a Resident Engineer
• Registered RE with IES
• Minimum 5 years experience as Resident Engineer in precast high rise residential building project.
• Knowledgeable with local authority’s regulations and requirements (BCA)
• Experienced with PPVC is added advantage
