ARUP SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Resident Engineer for a Singapore Marina Bay civil/structural project. The role provides on-site supervision, ensures compliance with project specs and Building Control regulations, and leads site teams.

You will manage records, monitor safety and schedules, and report to stakeholders. Requires 8+ years RE experience, REC certificate, and expertise in ERSS, foundation works, top-down basement, steel structures and post-tensioned floors.

Qualifications

• Accredited with IES-ACES-SSSS and a valid Resident Engineer Practicing Certificate.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as Resident Engineer.
• Experience supervising ERSS, foundation works, top-down basement construction, steel structures, post-tensioned floors and external works.
• Able to resolve site and technical issues and document detailed site progress reports.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills with experience leading a team of Resident Technical Officers.

Responsabilités

• Supervise construction works in alignment with project specifications and Building Control regulations.
• Manage and oversee a team of site staff or clerks of works, ensuring their performance meets project requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of site activities, staff attendance, and administrative matters, ensuring discipline and punctuality.
• Assist in approving overtime requisitions and ensure proper supervision of works, either personally or by allocating site staff.
• Support the Employer in monitoring contractor schedules, site safety, and record-keeping, and submit all relevant reports to project stakeholders.
