Job summary
Proskill Workforce Pte Ltd is seeking a Full-Time Resident Engineer (Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation - EICA) to join our project in Tuas. You will review electrical installations, instrumentations and automation systems, coordinate across disciplines and support FAT/SAT testing and safety reviews.
The ideal candidate holds a PE or RE registration with IES/ACES, a relevant engineering degree, and hands-on experience with DCS/PLC/SCADA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Relevant experience in electrical installations, instrumentation, control systems and automation.
- Familiar with Singapore Standard SS 638 for electrical installations.
- Knowledge of DCS, PLC, SCADA and industrial automation systems.
- Experience in industrial plants, process plants or waste-to-energy facilities advantageous.
- Familiarity with Navisworks and BIM model reviews.
Responsibilities
- Review contractors' technical submissions, electrical installation procedures and commissioning documents.
- Coordinate electrical, instrumentation, control and automation works across multiple disciplines.
- Review DCS/PLC configurations, system architecture, controllers and remote I/O engineering deliverables.
- Review process control systems, including boilers, steam turbines, water-steam cycles, weighbridge systems and communication networks.
- Interpret P&IDs and review electrical and process control interfaces.
- Attend technical meetings, coordinate with stakeholders and conduct site inspections.
- Participate in FAT/SAT for electrical and automation equipment.
- Participate in HAZOP, SIL assessments and Design for Safety workshops.
- Review 3D BIM models using Navisworks for site utility routing and coordination.
- Provide technical support during testing, commissioning and system integration activities.

Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 5.30pm
Saturday: 8.30am - 12.30pm

Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for electrical and automation equipment.
Participate in HAZOP, SIL assessments and Design for Safety workshops.
Review 3D BIM models using Navisworks for site utility routing and coordination.
Provide technical support during testing, commissioning and system integration activities.
- Registered Resident Engineer (RE) with IES/ACES accreditation
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Control & Instrumentation Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Relevant experience in electrical installations, instrumentation, control systems and automation
- Familiar with Singapore Standard SS 638 for electrical installations
- Knowledge of DCS, PLC, SCADA and industrial automation systems
- Experience in industrial plants, process plants or waste-to-energy facilities will be advantageous
- Familiarity with Navisworks and BIM model reviews
