Job summary

MECH-ANN CONSTRUCTION & MAINTENANCE PTE. LTD.

is seeking a Resident Engineer (Civil & Structural/Geotechnical) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to lead on-site supervision of major building and deep excavation projects in Singapore. The role requires a degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, accreditation with Singapore engineering bodies, and strong leadership to supervise staff and liaise with project consultants.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Civil & Structural engineering experience with at least 5 years supervising works on large building and deep excavation projects.
• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
• Accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Lead C&S site staff to monitor, supervise, and inspect works as directed by project authorities and consultants.
• Be conversant with statutory codes, quality control procedures, construction administration, and progress reporting.
• Exhibit strong leadership, organizational abilities, and interpersonal skills on site.

Resident Engineer (RE - Civil & Structural/Geotechnical)

a. Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Civil & Structural Engineer, with at least 5 years in supervising works on projects of similar size and complexity, particularly major building construction and deep excavation works.

b. Qualifications:

Must possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.

c. Accreditation:

Accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.

d. Responsibilities:

Lead the C&S site staff to monitor, supervise, and inspect works as directed by CAG, QP(S), QP(Geo), project consultants. Exhibit strong leadership qualities, organizational abilities, and interpersonal skills.

e. Knowledge:

Be conversant with statutory codes and site supervision requirements, quality control procedures, construction administration, and submission of progress reports.

f. Skills:

Demonstrate strong supervision and leadership abilities.

g. Flexibility:

Must be willing to work shifts.
