Job summary

OCTA METIER PTE. LTD. seeks a Resident Engineer to supervise civil, structural and geotechnical building works, including M&E and specialist engineering elements, ensuring compliance with PUB/LTA and other authorities.

You will be independent and energetic, capable of handling permanent shift work or night supervision and applied project management tasks. Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is essential for maintaining daily progress records.

Qualifications

• Supervise civil, structural and geotechnical building works including M&E elements.
• Independent and energetic to perform permanent shift work and night supervision and project management.
• Competent with all necessary Ministry of Manpower WS requirements e.g. WA H, Lifting work, PTW, etc.

Responsibilities

• Supervise permanent and temporary works to comply with PUB/LTA and other authorities' requirements for permanent and temporary works.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence.

Job description

1. The RE Shall supervise all civil, structural andgeotechnical building works, including structural elements for architecturalwork, building services, electrical and mechanical (M&E), and specialistengineering works for compliance with the PUB/LTA's requirements and otherauthorities' and agencies' requirements for permanent works and temporaryworks.

2. The RE shall be independent and energetic to performpermanent shift work or late night supervision and project management work.

3. The RE shall be competent with all necessary MinistryofManpower WS requirements e.g. Work-At- Height (WAH), Liftingwork,Permit-To-Work (PTW) etc.

4. The RE shall possess high proficiency in MSExcel,Power-point and maintaining of proper daily work progress record.
