Job summary

Tritech Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking a Resident Engineer (RE) or Senior Resident Engineer (SRE) to lead supervision and coordination of civil works, ensuring safety and quality alignment with approved drawings, specs, and project requirements. You will work closely with the client, QPS, consultants, and contractors to deliver site activities efficiently.

The role involves attending meetings, preparing daily/weekly reports, and supporting monthly submissions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, accredited by the Commissioner of Building Control.
• Valid practicing certificate from ACES/IES as Resident Engineer.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in supervision of civil works.
• Experience in geotechnical aspects of deep excavation works.
• Completed Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course (MOM-approved)

Responsibilities

• Carry out site supervision and coordination duties.
• Attend all project meetings requested by client.
• Prepare and submit Daily and Weekly reports.
• Assist SRE/QPS on preparation and submission of Monthly Reports.
• Review DARS and respond to client after approval from QPS.
• Maintain and update Drawing register and drawings.
• Review/approve RFIs submitted by Contractor.
• Observe and report near misses and follow up with client.
• Support client on safety matters per client requirements.
• Maintain all project documents in order for audit purposes.
• Monitor instrument readings and flag breaches in meetings.
• Promptly report non-compliance on safety and quality matters to client and QPS

Tritech Consultants Pte Ltd is looking for a Resident Engineer(RE) or Senior Resident Engineer (SRE) to join our project team and oversee the supervision, coordination, safety, and quality aspects of civil engineering works.

The successful candidate will work closely with the client, QPS, consultants, and contractors to ensure site works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Job descriptions:

• To carry out site supervision and coordination duties
• Attend all necessary project meetings requested by client
• Prepare and submit Daily and Weekly reports
• Assist SRE/QPS on preparation and submission of Monthly Reports
• Review of Document Acceptance Requests (DARS) and send reply to client after obtaining approval from QPS
• Maintain and update Drawing register and Drawings
• Review/check/approve Request for Inspection (RFI) submitted by Contractor
• Observe and report any near misses, following up on observation and/or near misses reported to client.
• Support client on Safety related matters based on client's requirement
• Maintain and ensure all project documents, both softcopies and hardcopies, are in order as per Audit requirements
• Follow up on instrument readings closely and highlight in meeting if there is any breach
• Prompt reporting to client, QPS on any non-compliance on safety and quality related matters

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least a Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, with qualifications accredited by the Commissioner of Building of Control
• Must have a valid practicing certificate from ACES/IES as a Resident Engineer (RE)
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, with at least 3 years specifically in the supervision of works similar to those under Civil Contracts.
• Experience in geotechnical aspects of deep excavation works
• Attended 'Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course’ conducted by MOM-approved trainer

Candidates with more extensive relevant experience and proven site supervision capabilities may be considered for the Senior Resident Engineer position.
