Job summary

C@NSPECS in Singapore is seeking experienced Resident Architects to lead site works and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and regulatory requirements. Senior positions may be offered to those with extensive experience and registration.

Responsibilities include supervising on-site works, coordinating with consultants and contractors, reviewing drawings, and maintaining records while overseeing architectural and interior fit-out activities on major projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture recognised by the Board of Architects Singapore.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant architectural experience.
• Candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience may be considered for Senior Resident Architect positions.
• Board of Architects registration is required for Senior Resident Architect appointments.
• Strong site supervision, coordination, communication and record-keeping skills.
• Experience on major building, infrastructure, airport, transport or similarly complex projects will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise architectural site works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and statutory requirements.
• Monitor workmanship, materials, quality and progress of architectural and fitting-out works.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, engineers and other project disciplines.
• Review architectural drawings and resolve site and technical coordination issues.
• Maintain proper site, inspection and progress records and monitor defects and rectification works.
• Architectural and interior fit-out works.
• Finishes, waterproofing and other major building architectural works.
• Experience coordinating architectural works with C&S and M&E disciplines
