Job summary

GovTech in Singapore seeks a Construction Quality Specialist to join the Development Quality Team. You will develop, review and implement construction quality initiatives, set and enforce quality standards, and conduct on-site construction quality audits to strengthen project delivery.

You will analyse quality data, share lessons learned, and explore technology adoption at sites to improve quality across programmes. Strong architecture background and regulatory familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Background in Architecture and conversant with authorities rules and prevalent codes of practice.
• At least 3 years in construction management or site supervision and able to relate construction to design/quality requirements.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to propose practical solutions.

What the role is

You will be part of the Development Quality Team to support and strengthen the value chain for construction project implementation, especially on progressive quality management during both the design and construction phases.

What you will be working on

Your role includes having to develop, review and implement construction quality initiatives, set and enforce quality standards, as well as conduct regular on-site construction quality audits. You will be sharing lesson learned and good industry practices on construction quality within the organisation and with the project site supervision teams. You will also be required to analyse data and trends in our quality performance across projects, and explore the adoption of technology at sites to aid in the construction quality management.

What we are looking for

• Background in Architecture and conversant with Authorities rules and regulations, and prevailing code of practices.
• At least 3 of relevant experiences in construction management or site supervision and able to relate construction situation and requirements to design / quality requirements.
• Good Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to think out of the box and propose alternative solution.
