Job summary

DP ARCHITECTS PTE LTD. is seeking a Resident Architect to assist in supervising architectural and related works under the Senior Resident Architect and Consultants Team.

The role involves project management duties including progress, quality, variation and cost control, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure timely TOP and handover. The RA will monitor contractors, address interfacing issues, and lead Resident Technical Officers as directed, reporting to the SRA and covering duties during

Qualifications

• Architectural degree recognised by BOA Singapore.
• Minimum five years of construction supervision experience on healthcare/institutional projects or similarly complex projects (S$200m+).

Responsibilities

• Assist supervision of architectural and related works.
• Assist in project management including progress, quality, variation/cost, environment, health and safety control.
• Monitor and coordinate architectural works by contractors to facilitate TOP, completion, handover and CSC inspections.
• Report critical issues and propose solutions to Employer, SRA and Consultants Team.
• Coordinate with Stakeholders, Consultants Team, Contractors and Direct Contract Vendors to resolve interfacing issues.
• Lead Resident Technical Officers to monitor and inspect works as directed by SRA, Employer and/or Consultants Team.
• Report directly to the SRA and cover duties in absence.

Job Responsibilities

• To assist the Employer, Senior Resident Architect (SRA) and Consultants Team to carry out supervision of architectural and related works;


• To assist Employer, SRA and Consultants Team to manage the Project, including progress control, quality control, variation/cost control, environment, health and safety control, etc;


• To assist Employer, SRA and Consultants Team to monitor and coordinate architectural works by Contractors to facilitate TOP, project completion, handover and CSC inspections;


• To report any critical and/or major issues and propose possible solutions to Employer, SRA and Consultants Team;


• To liaise and coordinate with Employer, SRA and Consultants Team to resolve technical and/or interfacing issues with Stakeholders, Consultants Team, Contractors and Direct Contract Vendors;


• To lead the Resident Technical Officers to monitor, supervise and inspect works as directed by the Senior Resident Architect, Employer and/or Consultants Team;


• To report directly to the SRA and to cover the duties and responsibilities in his absence.

Job Requirements

• The Resident Architect (RA) shall possess an Architectural Degree recognised by the Board of Architects (BOA) Singapore;


• He shall have at least five (5) years of construction supervision experience of local healthcare, institutional projects and/or projects of similar complexity of minimum S$200m.
