Job summary

Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium is seeking a Reservations Officer to join our team. You will handle reservations across platforms, monitor occupancy, and work with the manager on training and updates.

Upsell hotel facilities to enhance guest experiences while maintaining excellent service standards. The role requires a certificate in hotel management or related field, with at least 1 year of relevant experience, and strong problem-solving, communication, and follow-up skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in hotel management, business administration or related field is required.
• Demonstrate problem solving abilities and a proactive approach.
• Ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Meticulous with strong follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Processes reservations inquiries promptly via all reservations platforms.
• Monitors reservation activities and informs Manager of occupancy rates and bookings.
• Participates in periodic trainings and stays updated with latest developments.
• Promotes hotel products and services, including upselling facilities.
• Records special billing arrangements for groups and conventions.
• Ensures guests' feedback and requests are followed up and responded to.

Your day to day

• Processes reservations inquiries promptly via all reservations platforms.

• Monitor reservation activities and inform Manager of current and future occupancy rates and bookings.

• Work along with Manager to participate in periodic trainings and keep up to date with the latest developments.

• Promote hotel's product and services, such as upselling our hotel facilities.

• Record special billing arrangements for groups and conventions,

• Ensure guests' feedback/request are followed up and responded accordingly.

• Manage "no show" reservations by investigating and recording of same.

What we need from you

• Certificate in Hotel Management, Business Administration or related field with 1 year relevant experiences.

• Posses problem solving skills.

• Demonstrate ability to interact with all internal and external stakeholders.
