Job summary

NTU Singapore’s College of Computing and Data Science invites applications for a leadership role to support the Research Office. The successful candidate will lead a team of MSOs, oversee grants administration and research finance, and drive governance and integrity across projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years in research administration, plus 3 years of supervisory experience, and strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Preferably with 5+ years’ experience in research administration or graduate program management in a tertiary education institution.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience leading a dynamic administrative team.
• Financial accounting knowledge is preferred.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and engagement skills.
• Analytical skills with the ability to solve complex issues under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High level of commitment and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of MSOs to support the operations of the Research Office.
• Oversee and manage the research grants administration (including RCAs), research finance, research staff hiring, and ensuring corporate governance of research projects and research integrity.
• Organise research events (seminars, conferences, workshops), and handle research industry collaborations.
• Handle research data reporting (statistics/data required by NTU offices, external agencies, government organizations, and faculty appraisals).
