We are seeking a Research Professional with expertise in data science and healthcare analytics, and a strong interest in cardiovascular research, statistical modelling, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). You will be part of the data science research team at the National Heart Research Institute Singapore (NHRIS), National Heart Centre of Singapore (NHCS), reporting to the Principal Investigator. The team collaborates with local and global research institutions and multiple industry partners to advance data-driven cardiovascular research through innovative analytical approaches.
You are responsible for the progress of research projects under your care and are expected to demonstrate research expertise and capability in areas such as machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing applied to healthcare data. You will support the development, integration, and analysis of large-scale healthcare datasets through the national HEALIX platform on SingCLOUD, including data mining, processing, quality assurance, and documentation. Additionally, you will assist the Principal Investigator in leading and supervising junior researchers, collaborate with IT administrators to enhance data pipelines, and be actively involved in research collaborations with partners to identify data-driven research opportunities. The selected candidate will be offered employment on two-year renewable contractual terms.
Documented proof of:
(i)Measles (or MMR - Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and
(ii)Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination received within the last 10 years, as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act.
