The Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry is seeking a research-focused professional to support analysis of business, trade, and economic topics. You will help prepare reports, marketing content, and coordinate events to promote knowledge sharing among members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Sciences, or related discipline.
  • Strong research, analytical, and academic writing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with statistical or data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SPSS, or Python is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in AI productivity tools like ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Gemini is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on business, trade, economic, policy, SME, and industry topics using journals, government publications, and credible industry reports to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Collect, compile, analyse, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to support research projects and policy development.
  • Assist in preparing academic papers, research reports, policy briefs, presentations, and other publications to communicate findings effectively.
  • Design surveys and analyse member feedback to generate actionable insights and prepare visual materials such as charts, graphs, and infographics.
  • Monitor economic, regulatory, and policy developments affecting businesses and support market research and industry analyses.
  • Maintain research databases, publications, and reference materials ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Create marketing content for newsletters, social media, website, email campaigns, and promotional materials to enhance member engagement.
  • Support planning, promotion, and execution of research projects, seminars, conferences, networking sessions, business forums, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to coordinate research, marketing, and event activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management to support organisational goals.
