Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Civil Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Computer Science or related disciplines.
• Strong written and spoken communications.
• Proficiency in Python and MATLAB with data analysis experience.
• Supervising research assistants and contributing to progress reports and grant docs.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Open to fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead research activities on optical fiber sensing for coastal and marine structures.
• Develop sensing and analysis methodologies and validate sensing data.
