Job summary

NTU’s College of Computing & Data Science invites applications for the position of Research Fellow to develop a software platform supporting Smart Nation applications.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science required.
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience; entry-level with relevant project experience considered.
• Experience and strong research background in NLP.
• Passionate about NLP and AI research, applications.
• Proficient in programming languages (e.g., Python) and research packages.
• Experience in large-scale text processing and analytics.
• Strong publication track record.
• Experience in multilingual translation is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement NLP algorithms and models for semantic analysis.
• Application of NLP in knowledge and information extraction.
• Conduct translational research to apply state-of-the-art solutions at scale for real-world challenges.
