Job summary

NTU Singapore's School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering invites applications for a Research Fellow to conduct interdisciplinary research at the interface of microfabrication, functional soft materials, and bioactive delivery systems.

The role focuses on developing micro/nanostructured material platforms for controlled release, biological screening, microbial culture, and food or biomedical applications.

Qualifications

• PhD in Micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) development or related field.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent and collaborative research aligned with project objectives.
• Design and perform experiments, analyze data, and interpret results.
• Prepare manuscripts, reports, presentations, and other research outputs.
• Contribute to grant proposal preparation and project documentation.
• Collaborate with researchers, students, and external partners.
• Mentor and support junior researchers and students.
• Maintain accurate research records and ensure compliance with safety and institutional guidelines.
