Job summary

NTU Singapore's School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering seeks a Research Fellow to conduct interdisciplinary research at the interface of microfabrication, functional soft materials, and bioactive delivery systems. The role focuses on developing micro/nanostructured material platforms for controlled release, biological screening, microbial culture, and food or biomedical applications.

Qualifications

PhD in a relevant discipline, preferably with MEMS development experience.
Strong communication and organizational skills; able to work independently and in teams.
Experience in manuscript preparation and presenting research results.
Experience with microfabrication, soft materials, or bioactive delivery is desirable.

Responsibilities

Conduct independent and collaborative research aligned with the project objectives.
Design and perform experiments, analyze data, and interpret findings.
Prepare manuscripts, reports, and presentations.
Contribute to grant proposals and project documentation.
Collaborate with researchers, students, and external partners.
Mentor and support junior researchers and students.
Maintain accurate research records and ensure compliance with safety and institutional guidelines.
