Qualifications

• PhD in a social science discipline (communication, psychology, sociology or related).
• Strong foundation in experimental research and design.
• Hands-on VR development or immersive media research experience.
• Proficiency with statistical tools (SPSS, R, Mplus).
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary, multicultural teams.
• Effective initiative, communication, and research ownership.
• Experience collaborating with external vendors to translate designs into systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews and support theory development.
• Design immersive VR experiences for research.
• Engage with external vendors to develop VR experiences.
• Design and run experimental studies.
• Perform statistical analyses of data (SPSS, R, Mplus).
• Contribute to publications and conference presentations.
• Prepare progress reports and final outputs.
• Disseminate findings to academic and public audiences.
• Assist with project coordination and administrative tasks.
