Job summary

The Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at NTU invites applications for a Research Associate to contribute to the Climate Transformation Program: Sustainable Societies theme. You will assist literature reviews, VR development, experimental design, and statistical analyses under the PI, Professor Shirley Ho.

We seek a collaborative researcher with a Master’s degree in a social science field, strong VR and data analysis skills (SPSS/MPLUS/R), and a track record of publications.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in communication, psychology, sociology, or a social science related discipline.
• Strong foundation in VR app development, experimental research and analytical skills (e.g., SPSS, MPLUS, or R).
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural project team and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Engage in literature searches and manuscript preparation.
• Engage in VR app development and implementation.
• Design, conceptualize, and implement experiments.
• Conduct statistical analyses with experimental data.
• Contribute to research publications and presentations.
• Write progress and final research reports.
• Disseminate results with PI supervision.
• Carry out related administrative work.
