National University of Singapore's translational research lab advances curative therapies for CML and Asian-specific solid tumours, using multi-omics profiling and AI-guided discovery.
You will independently design and execute experiments, translate findings into publications, and help attract grant funding while mentoring students.
We value rigorous science and strong communication; shortlisted candidates will be notified.
We are a fast-moving translational research lab driven by the need to develop curative therapies for chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) and Asian-specific solid tumours including nasopharyngeal cancer. Our team combines leading-edge multi-omics single-cell profiling with AI/ML-guided discovery to uncover new mechanisms of targeted drug resistance, then rigorously validates these findings using state-of-the-art platforms including iPSC-based technologies, advanced in vitro systems, and in vivo models. Our current work spans global clinical biomarker studies to predict drug resistance at diagnosis, and next-generation therapeutic strategies to eliminate persistent leukaemia stem cells (LSCs) in minimal residual disease and prevent disease transformation- ranging from NK cell-based approaches to small molecule-targeting of high-risk epigenetic cell states we have identified.
We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
