Job summary

Cambridge CARES in Singapore invites applications for Research Fellow positions in Mechanical/Chemical engineering for HYCOMBS project. The roles are Singapore-based and initially two years, with possible extension; short stays in partner labs are envisaged.

Supervision will be by project partners (NTU, NUS, NTNU, Tohoku) depending on expertise. Candidates should hold a PhD in combustion or related field, with strong reporting and collaboration skills; industry connections and ability to work in

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent research experience in combustion.
• Experience with report writing, publications and presentations.
• Willingness to collaborate in a multinational team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct combustion experiments and CFD analyses for HYCOMBS areas.
• Develop detailed and reduced chemical mechanisms and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with partner labs and publish findings.
