Job Description

Applications are invited for the position of Associate Scientist to participate in experimental and/or CFD studies in Combustion & Propulsion research.

Responsibilities

• Experimental Research: Comprehensive knowledge of experimental techniques in combustion and gas dynamics, including measurements of flow velocity, pressure, temperature, and combustion diagnostics. Proven skills in experiment design, data acquisition, and data analysis.
• Numerical Research: Strong expertise in Combustion Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and extensive experience in code development. Prior experience with OpenFOAM and familiarity with commercial CFD software.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong background in Aerospace Propulsion and Gas Dynamics.
• Ability to work independently and good communication skills are essential.
