Qualifications

• PhD in materials science or applied physics with focus on renewable energy.
• Experience with DFT and machine learning for atomic catalysts.
• Strong publication record in renewable energy materials and electrocatalysis.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Theoretical predictions using DFT and machine learning, and mechanistic understanding of atomic catalysts.
• Investigation of mechanism by in-situ and/or operando techniques and theoretical calculations.
• Coordinate collaboration with other researchers to maintain progress and support the group experiments.
• Provide support to project management and lab infrastructure, including procurement and setting up equipment.
• Make regular progress reports to PI.
• Write proposals based on results for external grants.
