Qualifications

• Excellent independent research skills, critical thinking and experimental design; experience leading multidisciplinary projects is desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

The laboratory of Presidential Young Professor Liu Yuxin at the National University of Singapore (NUS Bioelectronic Lab – https://www.lab-liu.com/) seeks postdoctoral research fellows with strong enthusiasm for wearable electronics, flexible electronics and bioelectronics research.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary research project
• Design and conduct research in flexible electronics, implantable electronics, wearable electronics and electrical engineering
• Validate bioelectronic devices in pre‑clinical or clinical models
• Prepare and draft manuscripts for high‑impact journals

Qualifications

• Obtained or expecting a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, or related fields
• Strong interest in bioelectronics, wearable electronics and flexible electronics, with scientific curiosity and motivation for rigorous experimental work
• Excellent independent research skills, critical thinking and experimental design; experience leading multidisciplinary projects is desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Previous experience in printed electronic board (PCB) design, electronic circuits, firmware and app development is advantageous
