Qualifications

• PhD in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of postdoctoral or research experience in biological ageing or translational biomarker research.
• Hands-on expertise in epigenetics, proteomics, metabolomics, or immunology.
• Experience working with human biological samples in a clinical research context.
• Scientific writing demonstrated through peer-reviewed manuscripts.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and validation of biomarker panels in clinical trials.
• Oversee sample collection, biobanking, processing, and QC across studies.
• Drive translational research linking ageing mechanisms to clinical outcomes.
• Identify and validate new lab-based assessment methods for clinical studies.
• Contribute to international standards for ageing assessment in gerotherapeutic trials.
• Supervise wet lab staff and students and contribute to publications and grant applications.
