Job summary

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Fellow (Clinial Trials of Gerotherapeutics) at the NUS Academy for Healthy Longevity. You will lead interventional trials testing gerotherapeutics in humans and guide the study from design to publication.

You will oversee trial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate across teams to advance ageing biology research and international standards.

Qualifications

• MD, PhD or equivalent in Medicine, Clinical Pharmacology, or related field.
• 3+ years in clinical trial design and execution, incl. drug or intervention trials; repurposed drugs valued.
• GCP/ICH knowledge and ethics submission and regulatory experience.
• Experience with trial platforms such as IQVIA, REDCap, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools including R, SPSS, Python, Stata, or equivalent.
• Scientific writing: leading the writing and submission of peer‑reviewed manuscripts.
• Publication record in clinical trials or intervention science.
• Interest in gerotherapeutics and ageing biology; ageing experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of randomised controlled trials targeting biological ageing.
• Design/refine trial protocols including eligibility, outcomes, and analysis plans.
• Oversee day‑to‑day trial operations, recruitment, protocol compliance and ethics submissions.
• Evaluate innovative outcome measures like age clocks and digital health endpoints.
• Manage relationships with industry sponsors, CROs and regulators.
• Contribute to development of international standards for gerotherapeutic trials.
• Lead and contribute to publications and grant applications in trial methodology.
• Supervise clinical research staff, coordinators, and students.
