Job summary

The Singapore Institute of Technology is seeking a Research Fellow / Engineer (Cement and Concrete) to lead innovative research in ultra-low carbon concrete systems. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Materials Science or Civil Engineering, with strong expertise in cement chemistry, materials characterization, and mechanical testing. Responsibilities include managing research projects, conducting experiments, and disseminating findings through reports and presentations. This is a fixed-term position based in Singapore offering opportunities for impactful research collaborations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of cementitious materials and concrete characterization, particularly LC³.
• Experience in mechanical and durability testing of concrete.
• Strong understanding of hydration mechanisms and microstructural development.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of research projects with timely delivery.
• Conduct experimental programmes on low carbon concrete systems.
• Prepare technical reports and disseminate findings.
