Job summary

NTU Singapore’s School of Civil and Environmental Engineering seeks a Research Fellow to advance carbon materials enhanced concrete. You will develop carbon-containing concretes, evaluate properties and performance, and explore scalable applications at NTU Main Campus in Singapore.

The ideal candidate holds a PhD in materials science, chemical engineering or related fields with hands-on experience in analytical and experimental techniques and a strong publication record.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge on carbon material enhanced concrete/geopolymer material or energy storage material.
• Familiar with relevant analytical and experimental technique/skills, hands-on experience as well as solid theoretical background; excellent paper/report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test carbon materials enhanced concretes and related cementitious systems.
• Conduct cost-benefit and LCA analyses of developed materials.
• Advance materials development toward scalable concrete applications.
